As media reports also suggest, the funnel cloud appears to look have produced a waterspout, a phenomenon where the swirling winds suck water high into the air, over the St. Lawrence River. Although Environment Canada has confirmed reports of the funnel cloud, it has not confirmed whether waterspout was created.
