Police pursuit ends in collision in Calgary

We heard the sounds of multiple vehicles becoming involved in the crash at about 8:10am this morning, and found this scene on 15th SW between 1st and Centre st. As far as we could tell, 1 man was in custody and another female suspect had been located in a nearby underground parkade. The purple sedan allegedly hit the parked red car, before swerving into the moving pickup truck, then hitting a tree, where the occupants then fled on foot.

A truck-train collision near Bashaw, Alta, on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, caused two highways to be closed. Around 2:30 p.m. Bashaw RCMP responded to the collision between a double load gravel truck and a CN Train at an intersection located about one kilometre north of Bashaw.
