Pheasant came in for a visit

It was April 13/2009 around 6:00 I was making supper and we heard a big crash, one of our bedroom windows crashed with a female pheasant crashing threw the 2 pane window. We waited for a couple of hours as we were in shock but my husband Lyle caught her and seeing she wasn't injured we let her go.Here is a picture of Lyle holding her we also have pictures of the window. Needless to say our insurance doesn't cover wildlife.

Street level chopper

A man on a motorcycle was airlifted to hospital with injuries after his bike was struck by an SUV at Hurontario Street and and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga, Ont. during the afternoon rush hour on Wednesday. This video shows the medical chopper at ground level near the crash scene.

Fiery Edmonton crash

Around 2:30 a.m. Monday, a white truck hit a power pole and quickly caught fire near 109 Street and 85 Avenue in Edmonton. The driver was taken to hospital with serious burns and other injuries. Read article
