"Silent Scream" rally for Iran

Tamil protest in Toronto

A busy Toronto thoroughfare remains closed to traffic for a second day because of a loud, but peaceful, protest by Tamils and their supporters. The sound of drums and chanting continued through the night and police say the protest on University Ave. may continue through the rush hour. However, some people in the crowd warn they would remain outside the U.S. Consulate for days. Read article
