Stephen Philpott filed this photo and report from Whistler B.C.: "This happened after the completion of the men's luge on Sunday on the Excalibur gondola. Both cars were full with people. I was in the first car that came detached at the base station. The car behind us hit and push us. Our doors opened but the car behind us did not open, and the people were trapped inside. The system did shut down before the next car arrived. No one was hurt -- just shakened and scared. No operators were present until 5 to 10 minutes."
